Over-plucked brows
Years of plucking or waxing can stop brow hair from growing back. A transplant rebuilds the shape you want with hairs that keep growing.
Eyebrow restoration · Şişli, Istanbul
An eyebrow transplant restores thin, over-plucked or patchy brows with single hairs taken from your scalp. Each hair is placed one by one at the flat angle and changing direction of natural brow hair, giving a soft, natural shape that grows like real eyebrows.
What we treat
Years of plucking or waxing can stop brow hair from growing back. A transplant rebuilds the shape you want with hairs that keep growing.
For brows that have always been thin, we add density inside a shape designed around your face, never a stencil.
Hair can be placed into gaps or healed scars after the doctor checks that the skin is suitable for grafts.
Before you decide
Eyebrow loss that is recent, sudden or patchy can have a medical cause, such as thyroid problems or autoimmune conditions. In these cases a doctor should assess you first, because a transplant is only suitable once the cause is understood and stable. We ask about your history during the online assessment for exactly this reason.
How it works
Send photos of your brows without make-up and of the back of your head, along with your medical history.
Your doctor draws the brow shape with you and agrees density, arch and tail before anything begins.
Under local anaesthesia, the finest single-hair follicles are selected from the scalp.
Each hair is placed almost flat, following the direction of brow hair from the inner brow to the tail.
You receive written instructions and we follow your growth for 12 months.
Compare
| Eyebrow transplant | Microblading | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Real hair follicles moved from the scalp | Cosmetic tattoo imitating hair strokes |
| How long it lasts | Usually long term | Fades, usually needs touch-ups |
| Maintenance | Regular trimming | Periodic retouching |
| Result visible | Gradually over 9 to 12 months | Immediately |
Recovery
| When | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Days 1 to 7 | Tiny crusts and mild redness that settle within about a week. |
| Weeks 2 to 6 | Transplanted hairs usually shed. The follicles remain. |
| Months 3 to 6 | New brow hairs begin to grow. |
| Months 9 to 12 | Final shape and density are generally visible. |
Because transplanted hairs come from the scalp, they grow longer than natural brow hair. Most people trim them every one to three weeks and shape them with a little brow gel.
FAQ
Usually a few hundred single-hair grafts per eyebrow, depending on the shape and density planned.
Yes. Hair taken from the scalp keeps its growth pattern, so transplanted brows grow longer than natural brow hair and need regular trimming.
Transplanted follicles usually keep growing long term because they come from the scalp donor area. The result is generally visible after 9 to 12 months.
They are different. Microblading is a cosmetic tattoo that fades over time. A transplant grows real hair. Some people choose one, some combine both.
Avoid make-up on the brows until the crusts have fallen away and your doctor confirms healing, usually after about a week.
If eyebrow loss is recent, sudden or patchy, a medical cause should be checked first. Some conditions need treatment rather than a transplant.
Yes. The design simply follows a more masculine brow shape and density.
