Beard Transplant in Turkey

A beard transplant fills patchy areas or builds a fuller beard and moustache using your own hair, usually taken from the back of the scalp. Each graft is placed at the natural angle of facial hair, so the result can be shaved, trimmed and styled like the rest of your beard.

What we treat

From patchy cheeks to a full beard

Patchy cheeks

Gaps on the cheeks are the most common reason for a beard transplant. Grafts are spread to blend with your existing hair so the beard looks evenly dense.

Moustache and goatee

A weak or broken moustache, or a goatee that does not connect, can be completed with carefully angled single and double-hair grafts.

Cheek line, sideburns and scars

We can define the cheek line, strengthen sideburns and add hair to scars where facial hair no longer grows, after checking that the skin is suitable.

How it works

Your beard transplant, step by step

  1. Online assessment

Send clear photos of your face and the back of your head. We review your beard pattern and donor area.

  2. Beard design

On the day, your doctor draws the beard line with you, following your jawline and face shape.

  3. Extraction

Under local anaesthesia, follicles are taken one by one from the back of the scalp. Hair there is trimmed short.

  4. Implantation

Grafts are implanted at a very flat angle in the direction of your facial hair, with single hairs at the edges.

  5. Aftercare

You receive written washing and shaving instructions, and we follow your growth for 12 months.

FAQ

Beard transplant: common questions

Where do the grafts for a beard transplant come from?

Usually from the back of the scalp, where hair is strong and generally resistant to hair loss. Hair from under the chin can sometimes be used when it matches the beard.

How many grafts do I need for a beard transplant?

It depends on the area. A moustache or goatee may need several hundred grafts, cheeks often need several hundred per side, and a full beard can need several thousand. Your doctor confirms a safe number after an assessment.

Will a transplanted beard look natural?

Yes, when grafts follow the natural angle and direction of facial hair. Single-hair grafts are used at the edges so the beard line looks soft rather than drawn on.

When can I shave after a beard transplant?

Most patients can trim or shave again around 10 days after the procedure, once the doctor confirms the skin has healed.

Is a beard transplant painful?

It is done under local anaesthesia. You feel the anaesthetic injections at the start and then mainly pressure. Mild tenderness for a few days is common.

Will the transplanted hair fall out?

Most transplanted hairs shed between weeks 2 and 6. This is normal. The follicles stay in place, and new hair starts to grow from around 3 months.

Can I combine a beard and a scalp transplant?

Sometimes. Both use the same donor supply, so your doctor plans the total number of grafts carefully to keep reserve for the future.
